Tuscany-Inspired Wedding Ceremony Design in Sonoma

When M+M chose Viansa as their wedding venue, one of the first design elements we chatted about was the ceremony. Madisson was set on having the ceremony in the lower courtyard, which we loved because it's a space we rarely use for that! From there the focus was dressing up the wrought-iron doors with lush greenery and Madisson's favorite color, red, throughout the blooms. To accommodate the larger guest count, we created two aisles and added floral meadows down both sides of both aisles to break up the neutral color of the building and ground. Those florals were then repurposed up to the reception post-ceremony. Even with the rainy weather, we chose to keep the ceremony as we originally designed it and we're so glad that M+M were aligned in that decision! This ceremony design is already one of our all-time favorites!

Post-ceremony we invited guests to walk through the wine cave and up an ivy staircase that our amazing floral team, Golden Fields Floristry, also filled with that same lush greenery to make it really feel like guests were transported from one space to the next.

So grateful to this team for making this unforgettable day a reality!
