Mismatched bridesmaids dresses, florals galore and a tent nestled in the woods...we can't think of a more perfect summer evening wedding in Truckee, California celebrating Emily and Chris!
For Emily and Chris' wedding day design, we wanted to be cohesive with the natural elements that existed in the space. The stunning landscape of the forest and mountains all paired well with the neutral color palette, lush florals and greenery. Emily and Chris have such a love for the outdoors that the goal was to simply enhance the beauty that was already around us! We leaned into that beautiful mix of modern romance with each design decision. The ceremony lawn looked as if the chuppah had always been there; a large four-post structure from Found Rental Co that was enveloped in lush greenery and florals on all sides. We moved guests from one area to the next, each unveiling something new to the property that hadn't been seen yet. From the ceremony to the cocktail lawn to dinner, guests were serenaded by the sounds of the acoustic live musicians and then greeted through the meadow path to a dinner under the sailtop tent. We worked with Emily to select the perfect combo of light wood dinner chairs, exposed wood tables, lots of candlelight, soft sage green napkins, acrylic signage, and lush florals throughout the tent. All of it perfectly tied in with the cream lounge furniture and the enchanting greens and yellows in the surrounding meadows.
It was such a labor of love to bring this vision to life for these two, and one that we couldn't have made happen without the team effort from all parties involved.
