Get Comfortable: Have you had a professional shoot done of the two of you? If not, it is so important to get in front of the camera and get comfortable! It shows you the poses and prompts your photographer can give and it is a great opportunity to see what you look like in those poses and prompts! Maybe there are ones that you will LOVE and really want to make sure you have on wedding day.
Save the Dates and Wedding Website: You will have numerous opportunities you could you the photos. Some that we see often are save the dates, bridal showers, wedding websites, engagement parties, and guest books. It's great to have high quality photos for those events or wedding needs and to have a plethora of them to choose from so you aren't using the same photo over and over again.
Get to Know Your Photographer: This is our number one reason of why you should book an engagement shoot. Get to know your photographer! It is so fun. to have connections made before the wedding day so you feel confident in who is shooting your wedding.
Capture Engagement Season: Engagement season is a really special season but it can oftentimes be overwhelming or stressful. Taking some time to slow down and pick engagement shoot locations that reflect both you and your fiancé in this season is such a special way to remember the moment but also remember who the two of you were before marriage!
