The Number One Reason We Encourage Videographers

Videography has increased in popularity over the past 10 years. We've come a long way from using your uncle's camcorder on a wedding day and it is for good reason!

The main purpose of Videography is to visually tell the story of your day through movement, music, words, and video clips. Though the job of a photographer is to tell the story of the day, the videographer is doing so with the addition of music, words from the day, and more. Videography captures the energy and emotions in ways that photography can't. Even though photographers can photograph emotional toasts, they aren't able to replay what was said and what the audible reaction was. It's the number one reason we encourage videography on a wedding day! Having the ability to see, hear, and feel the words shared from a day through toasts, vows, or first dance songs is both sentimental and sacred.

We love working with video teams that can work well alongside photo teams so that your day doesn't feel like a movie set but feels natural and at ease.

Three video teams we love to work with are:

We have worked with all three of these teams and absolutely loved the moments they were able to capture for our couples!
